One of the biggest problems facing the world today is global warming. Many experts believe that our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases is heating the atmosphere, and thiscould be very dangerous for human life. This essay will examine the problem of global warming and suggest some solutions for it.The film An Inconvenient Truth, directed by Davis Guggenheim, 2006, presented by Al Gore,the weather was changing by year and years . Many problems could result from global warming. One of the biggest is rising sea level. This could result in the flooding of low lying coastal areas and cities, such as Egypt, the Netherlands, and Bangladesh. Another problem is changes in weather patterns. Many areas of the world are experiencing increased hurricanes, floods, and other natural disasters. A final issue associated with this phenomenon is the negative effect on animals. Fish populations could be affected, while some insects which spread disease might become more common ;also dirty coal plants that produce large amounts of carbon dioxide which cause global warming (Knute Nadelhoffer).
Humans can do a lot to reduce Global warming is effects and save the planet. One way is to reduce using oil which produce a lot of carbon dioxide one of the green house gases and the main reason of global warming and depend more on the renewable energy like solar and wind energy. Another solution is to use less energy or electricity. By using less electricity, less oil and recources are going to used and less carbon dioxide is produced but accept the fact that emission of carbon and GHGs cannot be stopped completelly(Kyoto).
In conclusion, making small changes now in the way we live means avoiding huge changes in the future. Scientists, governments and individuals must work together to overcome this serious threat.
